Hello!

My name is Kristen, and blogging is apart of my life.  I founded and write for Savvy Deets Bridal, which is a wedding blog.  Since I planned my own wedding I fell in love with all things wedding related. That is still going strong, nearly 3 years now, and is a major passion in my life.

I've started writing this blog, because I have so much to say about things other than weddings! Creating crafts and projects in the name of re-purposing the old and ordinary into new and extraordinary treasures is one of my fave things to do.  I just did 5 projects in the past couple of days, and I cannot wait to share my creations! Some of my crafts were inspired for weddings, but they also work home decor and gift giving inspirations.

Cooking & baking are another of my passions, so recipe sharing is a big topic.  I've just been ordered to maintain an Gluten Free lifestyle, which is sort of a challenge, but that is helping me come up with new and interesting twists in my recipes.

Other off-topic musings might be shared from time to time on along my journey as a happily married wife and new-ish mommy.  The latter is, in a nutshell, amazing, exhausting, beautiful, tiring, blissful, challenging and humorous.  If I spout off things in my new life as a mommy, I hope no judgement is shared against me, but supportive advice, pretty please.  I am very new to this stuff.
